Dr. Buxton has been my dentist for over 30 years. I moved and changed dentists for a time and no one compared to Dr. Buxton's skill, so I am grateful to be back, as is my whole family. She really takes time with you and provides you with the most comprehensive care to ensure the life of your teeth and overall dental health.

I have been seeing Dr. Buxton for years. She is an, "old school" dentist and does the cleanings and all work (minus xrays) herself. She does an exceptional job explaining what is happening and about to happen as she works her way through the appointment. I have referred many dental phobic and or generally anxious clients from my own practice and she has done a beautiful job managing patients with symptoms ranging from social anxiety to clients on the spectrum while at the same time providing amazing dental care. Her prices are exceedingly reasonable especially given the years of experience, quality of care and Main Line location.

Best Family Dentist on the Main Line

Judy has been my dentist for 17 years. I am a physician and picky about who professionally is dealing with all my heath visits. This last visit today was to have a crown from 20+ years ago replaced. Judy was very concerned about not having any pain, and I did not. The crown was off quickly, she explains every step even though I have been through this now several times. Some painless reshaping and the "impression" was taken. She made the temporary, and it fit perfect. I recommend Judy very highly as a picky person.

Excellent and efficient treatment

Going to the dentist is one of my favorite things to do! No wonder, my dentist is Dr. Judy Buxton and she is the best! She is friendly, warm and incredibly knowledgeable about the importance of good oral health and hygiene! She has been practicing on the Main Line for over 20 years. Dr. Buxton takes the time to help you understand your dental concerns and addresses those concerns in a conservative way. She is incredibly gentle and actually cleans your teeth herself! She has the most up-to-date techniques, from imaging and xrays to insurance claim filing! Her Office Manager, Kristin, is efficient and well versed and can answer your questions in a concise and knowledgeable way. My visits to Dr. Judy Buxton are relaxing and positive!!

Dr Buxton made getting a filling NOT a bad experience. I have "dentist-anxiety" but her work was quick and pain-free.

Dr. Buxton has helped identify a problem I had been dealing with for years. She has been patient through this issue and has devoted much of her time to remedy my problem. When a temporary crown fell out, I was able to set up an appointment within the hour. Above all I trust her judgement and the care she has provided me.

I recently had a cracked tooth that needed immediate attention. My regular dentist was away, but on only one hour notice, Dr. Buxton fit me into her schedule. She took x-rays, assessed my problem, and developed a prompt plan of action resulting in a temporary crown, then a permanent crown. Her care was excellent, she explains thoroughly what she is doing, and Dr. Buxton's pricing is very fair. I would strongly recommend Dr. Buxton for any dental care.

I would characterize my experience at this dental office as informative and thorough. Dr. Buxton looks out for her patients dental health and explains ways for them to maximize their ability to keep their teeth clean between dental visits. Dr. Buxton went above and beyond to minimize discomfort with complete regard to every detail in the cleaning of my teeth. Her assistant Kristin, was bright and cheerful; played a vital role in making the entire appointment go as smoothly as possible. This was one of the best dental experiences I've ever had.

Judy is the best dentist I have ever had. Period. For starters, unlike too many dentists, her priority is patient care, not generating revenue. So she doesn't urge more treatment than is necessary. But more importantly, she does very good work, and makes the visits as pleasant as possible. She explains everything as she goes along. I have very bad teeth, so I am in multiple times a year. It's my great good fortune to have such a good dentist, given my difficulties.

Dr. Buxton makes your visit fun. She takes an interest in you personally and always seems happy to see you. The office is very welcoming. I appreciate that they send me a reminder as well.

Dr. Buxton has been my Dentist for over 20 years. Though I no longer live in the area, I still choose to drive two hours to see her. I recently had my fourth crown put on and, as always, the fit, color, shape and feel is perfect. SHE IS AN ARTIST!! Judy is also extremely gentle and patient. I give Dr. Buxton my absolute highest recommendation. She is the only Dentist for me.
